A New Product Developed Because Of Collector Requests

Recently we have had requests from several collectors to develop a new product that fits the needs of Date and DAM (Date/Assayer/Mintmark) collectors. This new product is a checklist by DAMs of all Mexican Republic coins. We have taken their requests to heart and have begun the development of these products.

This was a relative easy task for the gold coins because it was already basically done for the 10 gold denominations in preparation to publish the The FoxLair Ultimate Handbook Series©. However, it will take some more time to finish the silver coins of Republic Period simply because these books are not yet completed.

What Is Different About These Product?

Many current Mexican coin catalogs have not been fully updated since the Buttrey & Hubbard Guide Books of Mexican Coins ceased publication. Therefore there has been a vacuum of new prices or for that matter a good or complete list of all of the DAMs, both new and old that are currently verified and thought to exist. This makes collecting the coins of the Republican Period difficult, if not impossible, for collectors because even some of the experts are unaware of some of the newly discovered DAMs for different series of coins.

We will address only the listing of these DAMs with this new product and not the pricing because the pricing will be addressed in The FoxLair Comprehensive Price Guides© to be introduced at a later date.

Therefore, if you want and need a current listing of all the DAMs known to exist and those suspected to exist right now, this product may fit the bill?

These lists will be available with all of the important information you need to form a DAM or Date Collection and will be available two formats:

Printed format for those who need something to carry with them to shows
Microsoft Excel spreadsheet for those who want to maintain their records on a computer

The reports will be available in a single format unlike The FoxLair Reference Collections©. They will include all mints and denominations in a single series such as all the Gold Pesos, Gold Escudos, Silver Real Minors, Silver Decimal Minors, the 8 Reales, etc.

Each series and format will be priced differently because of the work required to do each. Later we may offer discounts for multiple purchases of these reports, just as we do other reports, but today we only offer them as single reports.

Rather than to list the information why don't you look at the Sample Report of the Culiacan 1/2 Escudos attached herein? This will give you a better idea of what they look like and include rather than some long wordy description.
